Material properties

UNS J95705/ UNS N08705 designated as ASTM A297 Grade HP, is a high-chromium, high-nickel austenitic stainless steel formulated for casting. Known for its 26Cr-35Ni composition, this alloy is distinguished by its excellent high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance. It performs well in severe thermal environments, maintaining mechanical integrity under high stress and temperatures up to 2010°F (1100°C). The alloy's resilience against carburization and oxidation is particularly valued in industrial and aerospace applications.
